The Elder Thing Relic by JasonMcKittrick The Elder Thing Relic by JasonMcKittrick
"Miskatonic University Special Collections Department
Item # 72112

"The Elder Thing Relic"

Believed to have originally belonged to the Asian mystic Anqi Sheng, this red coral relic was found among the personal belongings of the first Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang.

Thought to depict one of the fabled "Elder Things" as mentioned in the Necronomicon of the Mad Arab Abdul Alhazred. The "Elder Things" were said to inhabit large cities in the south and were said to be the possessors of forbidden knowledge, including the secrets to eternal life. This would explain the item as having been in the possession of Emperor Qin whose extensive searches for immortality are well documented.

Item # 72112 was seized from a San Francisco based Chinese criminal organization with ties to the "Cult of Leng".

Classification: Singular/ Unusual

Item # 72112 is exceedingly rare and represents an as yet unknown ancient artistic style. Item # 72112 may not leave Miskatonic University Special Collections Department under any circumstances.

Measurements: 3.75" x 4.5"

NOTE: Handle with care. Item # 72112 has been observed to cause minor to severe skin irritation after prolonged contact with the skin."

I actually got one of these! Looks amazing! Very nicely sized. The Miskatonic note is a nice plus. And at $25, it's a steal. Lovecraft fans, buy it!

Fantastic, I love that everything has a well defined background. I love the way the eyestalks look like a crown, it looks like a genuine antiquity. Faved!
