Tesla's Cthulhu Idol by JasonMcKittrick Tesla's Cthulhu Idol by JasonMcKittrick
“A small metal idol found among the personal belongings of Nikola Tesla after his death in 1943. Tesla was not known to own such items but it is interesting to note that the idol is slightly magnetized and causes disruptions to occur in electrical instruments. Item is currently housed in the Special Collections Department of Miskatonic University in Arkham, Massachusetts.”
Tesla’s Cthulhu Idol is hand-cast in solid resin and individually signed and numbered by artist Jason McKittrick.

Great work. I like the hunched brooding attitude of it, and the wet worn algae-stained look.

Hey I've got some questions about your Cthulhu sculptures, as I've been trying to make my own and need a bit of guidance.
Like, what clay do you use? And are there any particular techniques you apply to get it looking so detailed or is it just practice?

I use sculpey for everything. As far as technique it's really just 20 years of practice.

20 years worth, that would explain it ;)
As for sculpey, it's not so cheap in Australia, but still available. I'll have to go hunting.
Thanks! :)
