Houdini's Secret- Deluxe Edition by JasonMcKittrick Houdini's Secret- Deluxe Edition by JasonMcKittrick

A new prop set inspired by the classic H.P. Lovecraft tale, “Under the Pyramids” starring world famous magician and performer Harry Houdini. “Houdini’s Secret” is available in two editions: Regular Edition and Deluxe Edition.

Delve deeper into the eldritch investigations of Harry Houdini with the Deluxe Edition of “Houdini’s Secret”. Collection comes in an antique style shipping box covered with vintage luggage tags from various hotels in Cairo. (Measures 8″ x 4.5″ x 5″)

Set includes:

  • A depiction of the infamous “Ghoul Queen” Nitocris wearing traditional Egyptian garb and bearing peculiar regalia not associated with any known Egyptian gods. (Printed on heavy card stock 5″ x 7″)

  • A corked glass vial containing linen from the mummy of Queen Nitocris. Linen bears the cartouche of Queen Nitocris and a drawing of a “crazily angled stone” (Made with authentic Egyptian linen. Vial measures 2″)

  • A photo of Harry Houdini demonstrating his uncanny abilities of escape. (3.5″ x 5″)

  • “Amulet of Queen Nitocris”- A small ivory and gold amulet found by Houdini at an undisclosed location in Egypt. The inscription bears the name of Nitocris as well as a Crocodile-headed guardian holding an Egyptian sword. Below is carved what is believed to be a representation of the original appearance of the Sphinx. Its intended purpose is unknown. (Hand cast in solid resin 3.5″ x 2″)

  • Three pages of notes written by Houdini detailing his investigations into the Sphinx and Queen Nitocris. (Printed on high quality laid paper 5″ x 7″ each)

  • “Idol of the True Sphinx” – An ancient black basalt carving of the alleged original appearance of the Sphinx. This depiction differs wildly from the current appearance of the Sphinx and was said to cause dread in all who gazed upon it. The name “Nyarlathotep” has long been associated with it. (3″ x 5″ 3″)

  • A photo of the Sphinx during one of its many periods of burial by sand. The re-carving of the face may have been done during one of these periods. (4″ x 6″)

  • A six inch segment of rope recovered by Houdini from the tomb of Queen Nitocris. Houdini was horrified when he realized that it was the same rope used to bind and lower him into the unknown pit during his last trip to Egypt.  (Measures 6″)

  • A high quality print of Harry Houdini’s “Buried Alive” poster. Houdini’s fascination with Ancient Egypt was well noted and can be seen in the design of this poster. (5″ x 7″)
